H is for Helpful Hints

I am trying to learn this blogging thing by jumping in with both feet.  I hooked up with an incredible group of teachers for a blog hopping extravaganza - well, at least to me it's an extravaganza!

Today we are to post a helpful hint - and JEEZ do I feel inadequate compared to all the amazing helpful hints and awesome blog posts I have read all evening!

So I think what I will do is post the hint that I am finding the most helpful right now.

I am just at the beginning of this blogging adventure, and I know I have so much to learn and so far to go.  Its really hard for me not to compare myself with others.  I am usually pretty competent, and this blogging makes me feel pretty challenged!

So I'm curious to know - for all of you who might saunter by here from the blog hop link -what are you beginning that intimidates you?  How are you coping with the stress of it all?  Do you jump in with both feet like I am trying to do here?  Or wade in slowly testing the water as you go?

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hi,

I stumbled onto your blog through the blog hoppin' blog..lol..and I have to say that I commend you for starting your blog. As teachers we are natural researchers and I know seeing all those super famous teacher blogs can be intimidating, but I just wanted to say thank you for putting your ideas on the web and helping teachers like me who are not stateside, but need to keep up with the times. I've taken on a huge challenge this year with being the elementary coordinator, but at the end of the day if I can help one of my teachers become better at what they do then I am good. So good luck with your endeavors and I hope to see more of your posts.

  2. Thank you SO much for your encouragement! It IS very intimidating! But I will keep on. Its making me a better teacher, and if some of that passes on to someone else, I'll be very happy. Thanks again.
